Bruno Bekman, our correspondent in Kyiv, interviewed father and son Oleksandr Rekalo. The latter saw his family flee to the municipality of Balen in Belgium. The former helped build the sarcophagus around the destroyed Chernobyl reactor in 1987 and today heads the Chernobyl Foundation.
